The A350-900 entered service with Qatar Airways on 15 January 2015. It can carry 300 to 350 passengers. It has a maximum range of 15,000 kilometres (8,100 nautical miles) and has a 280-ton (617,300-pound) maximum take-off weight (MTOW). This plane revolutionised aviation with its great fuel efficiency and its powerful GE-90 engines.
The A350 is also well known to help passengers with jet lag and it is Airbus's response to the 787 Dreamliner. While the Dreamliner is still better in fuel efficiency, this plane is the best known for its long haul flights and maybe even an alternative for the A380. Many airlines in the world have ordered the A350.
