British Airways, the most iconic and the largest operator of the Boeing 747 just announced that they will be retiring all of their 747's from their fleet effective immediately! This is happening due to the ongoing world health crisis. Due to this Covid-19 virus, airlines are getting rid of 4 engine airplanes to save money. Eventhough most of us saw it coming, it is still a sad day for all. At this rate, Emirates will be the only operator of 4 engine jets.
