A loganair flight LOG321 that was supposed to fly from Edinburgh to Southampton performed an emergency landing after a fault with one of the pressurization components on the aircraft.
The airplane involved was supposed to travel a 1h 20mins flight, departing at 7am and arriving at 8.20am but instead, after takeoff, the pilot squawked code '7700' due to a pressurization component failure. In case you were wondering, squawk code '7700' means to declare an emergency and inform the ground staff to clear the nearest airport.
Fortunately, the airplane landed back at Edinburgh shortly after takeoff, with none of the 16 passengers injured in the process. One of the passengers said that the crew onboard handled the situation very well and that he/she felt safe during the emergency but on the ground, the airport staff was rude and unfriendly.
Will you fly Loganair?
