As sad as it may seem, Norwegian Air, a well-knowned Irish long-haul budget carrier because of its high amount of debts and failure to capture the market will be retiring the whole of their Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, which has been grounded since March 2020 as part of their restructuring programme.
Sadly, with the retirement of their 787s, it means that Norwegian Air will no longer operate low-cost long-haul routes and stick to short-haul routes with their 737MAX fleet.
After all of these events and their filing for bankruptcy in November 2020, Norwegian Air will likely be the next airline to go out of business unless a big miracle happens while executing their restructuring plan.
