Breeze Airways- It's here!

It's finally here- startup airline Breeze Airways now selling tickets for their very first flight! Today, in a few hours, ticket sales will open for Breeze Airways' first flight from Charleston to Tampa. Breeze Airways is one of the first startup airlines to open amid the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, Breeze Airways has taken delivery of 4 Embraer E190s and 2 Embraer E195s.

Initially, Breeze Airways plans to fly to around 50 destinations with three fare classes - Nice, Nicer and Nicest despite the flagship aircraft, the A220-300 still not delivered. Breeze Airways also has a very interesting business model- they are a short-haul carrier but still has premium classes, somewhat similar to JetBlue. However, due to this, many other airlines still do not believe that Breeze Airways is competition that they need to worry about.
