The UK-based airline, British Airways, recently announced that they will be flying the British & Irish Lions Rugby Team from Edinburgh to Johannesburg on June 27th for the"Lions Tour". The Rugby team will be flying on a British Airways charter flight.
In a statement by British Airways' CEO Sean Doyle, he stated:
"We are honoured to be flying The British & Irish Lions to South Africa ahead of their tour. After a difficult year, we look forward to uniting the nation through sport and cheering them on. From everyone at British Airways, we wish them the best of luck and hope to carry them home as champions."
