5 October 2021, 3.28 PM UTC | Qantas' longest-ever flight departs from Buenos Aires’ Ezeiza International Airport, bound for Darwin International Airport. The flight travelled a distance of 14,673 km, taking over 18 hours, making it the longest ever flight performed by Qantas with paying passengers on board. This unique flight was a repatriation flight that the airline ran on behalf of the Australian Government.
The aircraft being used for the flight in question is a 2.9-year-old Boeing 787-9 with registration VH-ZNH. At the time of writing, the flight, QF14, is flying over Antarctica and is expected to land today at 9.11 am UTC or 6.41 pm local time at Darwin.
Here is the latest communication with the pilots in QF14, according to Qantas:

My parents are on this plane and I can only say that the work done by the Australian consul in Colombia and Australian ambassador in Argentina were fantastic. They all worked 24 hours for many days to make this flight happen.
