Singapore Airlines' Restaurant A380 @ Changi!

Do you know about Singapore Airlines' brand new restaurant on the Airbus A380? If not, this article is for you! For 2 weekends only (24-25 October and 31 October to 1st November), Singapore Airlines will be converting 2 of their Airbus A380s into restaurants!

What to expect, you may ask? Singapore Airlines will be hosting both lunch and dinner sessions, each up to 3 hours long with food made by Singaporean chef Shermay Lee! You will be able to watch from over 1000 on-demand video while eating, a heritage showcase, free memorable limited-edition souvenirs, and a pre-dining aircraft tour which costs extra money on a first-come-first-served basis.

It was shocking when Singapore Airlines managed to sell the first 900 tickets in 27 minutes so now they have decided to add more days to the dining experience which was only supposed to happen on one weekend. The additional seats are currently not released yet to purchase but you can join a waitlist on the Singapore Airlines website! In case you were wondering, here is the menu:

Economy Class ($53.50 per pax or 6,687 miles)

Premium Economy ($96.30 or 12,037 miles)

Business Class ($321 or 40,125 miles)

Suites ($642 or 80,250 miles)

Now some of you may ask, why is it so expensive? It is expensive because it is a once in a lifetime experience and it may even be one of last times avgeeks like us manage to board an Airbus A380. Also, do note that the tickets can only be purchased by Singapore residents.

For myself, I am currently on the waitlist because I did not manage to catch the first wave of bookings and if i manage to get a ticket, I will be making a video and writing an article on my experience.
