A few months ago, Russia and China got together to make a brand-new wide-body aircraft that could compete against the Airbus A350 and the Boeing 787 and a few days ago, COMAC, a Chinese aircraft manufacturer announced their brand-new aircraft, the COMAC CR929!
The range of the aircraft is slightly lower than the Boeing 787, with 14'000 km, while the Boeing 787 has a range of 14'140 km and the maximum amount of passengers permitted is also similar to that of the Airbus A350 at 291 passengers.
Whenever it comes out, there is a very high chance that it will be a competitor to the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 due to the similar specifications, but all we need to do is wait. Do expect a follow-up article in the next few months.
